Design
To Be a Sullivan
The purpose of this project was to create a series of subversive t-shirts that centered around a specific cause. My design focuses on suicide and mental health awareness. The image and writings are of my father and the life lessons he left behind for my sisters and I. This design is meant to show that mental health can effect anyone, even a man in the prime of his life who is a strong and healthy college athlete. All the text in the design is my father’s handwriting, including the number 44 on the front. With the exception of “Know your worth,” this is my own handwriting to acknowledge my own struggles with mental health.
Knowing your worth is incredibly important when it comes to taking care of yourself, and this design is an attempt to show that mental health and struggles looks different for everyone.
Pictured is my entire extended family in the t-shirts that honor Bradford Clarke Sullivan, a beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, and father.

Labyrinth
Labyrinth was a campus magazine founded by a friend and University of Oregon alumni. It is a collection of stories, poems, art, and interviews centered around BIPOC people and their experiences. I had the honor of designing the entirety of Labyrinth’s first print issue, and these are some of my favorite spreads.
FLU X Magazine
FLUX Magazine is another University of Oregon campus magazine that centers on art, social justice, and personal stories in Oregon. I had the privilege of designing two stories for the 2022 edition.
BUST Magazine Redesign
As a final project in a design class I took at university, I was tasked with redesigning a magazine. For the project, I had to include two cover options, a table of contents, a front-of-book, two full-page ads, a feature story, two smaller feature stories, and a masthead.
